Près de deux mois après l’accident, toujours pas de travaux au cimetière de Longny-au-Perche

Un trou béant continue d’éventrer le mur du cimetière de la commune déléguée de Longny-au-Perche (Longny-les-Villages) depuis l’accident survenu le 3 août 2024. Une moissonneuse-batteuse s’était renversée sur la route du Docteur-Boulay, percutant l’angle du mur du cimetière de cette commune de l’Orne.

Le conducteur avait été légèrement blessé.

Depuis, le cimetière, par ailleurs parfaitement entretenu, conserve les traces du choc. Un ruban de signalisation ferme toujours l’accès au site à ce niveau (mais le site reste accessible à tous).

Contacté mardi 17 septembre 2024, Christian Baillif, le maire de Longny-les-Villages, fait savoir qu’un devis a été transmis aux assurances.

Il faut désormais attendre, je n’ai pas de date à communiquer concernant les réparations.

En attendant, hormis la rubalise marquant l’angle du cimetière touché lors de l’accident, rien n’a bougé depuis.

Des gravats encombrent toujours cet espace, deux tombes sont impactées dont une est entièrement recouverte de terre et de pierres.

Interrogé sur le sujet, Christian Baillif indique ne pas être au courant ni savoir pourquoi ces tombes n’ont pas été nettoyées…

Gilles Ory, adjoint en charge des travaux, précise qu’une expertise a eu lieu mercredi 18 septembre au matin. « Tout cela prend du temps », confirme l’élu. Concernant les gravats sur les tombes, « ce n’est pas du ressort de la commune de les enlever, mais aux familles de prendre contact avec leur assurance ». La sépulture est, en effet, un espace privé.
